DEL MAR, CALIFORNIA – Most responsible pet owners, when in public, will do anything to pick-up after their pets, including using a plastic bag wrapped around their hand to pick up their pets waste. When they do, there is a chance the bag they use from the grocery store may have small holes which could allow harmful bacteria, even viruses, to come in contact with the their skin. This can cause sickness our may cause serious illness.

Most of the time though, when the “less than responsible owner” is in public and alone, with no one looking, “IT” goes untouched. “IT” stays right there in the park, on the street, on the lawn waiting for someone to step or fall on, a mess and potential harm waiting to happen. That leaves “IT” exposed to the rest of us who may come into contact with “IT”. This is a messy, smelly and even a dangerous heath problem especially if the animal is or has been sick and the waste has not been collected, contained and properly disposed you can become ill.

Pix It Up – Pet Refuse Removal System has been designed to collect waste with a uniquely designed tool and biodegradable bag that, when used together is a complete system for handling pet waste. And, Pix It Up keeps the individual from ever touching “IT”. The bags are designed to cover the tool and keep it clean during operation. Once the task at hand is complete and the bag properly disposed, the tool can be kept in the home, car or hotel, it does not need to be cleaned.
Pix It Up bags are large enough for use around the home and garden where multiple droppings are usually present. The bag has a special flap to helps seal the waste in the bag until properly disposed.

Pix It Up is portable, lightweight and adjustable from 27” to 42”. It is ideal for pet owners to take with them when in public or when traveling with their pets. The adjustable handle limits bending over which helps those with back problems.

The tool is designed with an aluminum handle and a sturdy ABS plastic injected molded spade-loop. The spade provides a flat, smooth, and sturdy surface for easy scooping on any surface and with any consistence of waste. And the spade is flexible to adapt to uneven surfaces and varying foliage.
