3.6 billion pounds of dog waste in the US alone...

In the US alone there is 3.6 billion pounds of dog waste that equals 800 football fields, one foot high that is produced per year. That’s why Jeffrey Harrison of KMH Industries, Inc. has designed and patented Pix It Up®, a new pet pooper scooper introduced this years, which has been selected as one of the BEST NEW PRODUCTS OF THE YEAR by DOG FANCY MAGAZINE to help alleviate the problem. The problem you say

“A big feature of Pix It Up is the portability of the product which was designed for taking with you while on your walk” says Harrison, the inventor. “It has the ability to hold multiple droppings and is great for picking up the yard or for use with large dogs.”

Pix It Up – Pet Refuse Removal System is designed to collect waste with a uniquely designed tool and biodegradable bag that covers the entire tool and when used together is a complete system for handling pet waste. Pix It Up collects, contains and disposes of pet waste without touching it or bending over.

The unique design incorporates bags that are designed to cover the tool and keep it clean during operation. Once the task at hand is complete and the bag properly disposed of, the tool can be kept in the home, car or hotel, it does not need to be cleaned.

Pix It Up bags are large enough for use around the home and garden where multiple droppings are usually present. The bag has a special flap to helps seal the waste in the bag until properly disposed.

Pix It Up is portable, lightweight and adjustable from 28” to 42”. It is ideal for pet owners to take with them when in public or when traveling with their pets. The adjustable handle limits bending over which helps those with back problems.

The tool is designed with an aluminum handle and a sturdy ABS plastic injected molded spade-loop. The spade provides a flat, smooth, and sturdy surface for easy scooping on any surface and with any consistence of waste. And the spade is flexible to adapt to uneven surfaces and varying foliage.

Products are currently available at www.pixitup.com and in local retail pet and home and garden stores.
